Thomas Jefferson, One of the Most Substantial Revolutionary Figures in American History.

A revolutionary figure is someone who makes a valuable and important change in history. Thomas Jefferson is an extraordinary example of a revolutionary figure in America. He accomplished great things for our country throughout his life. He always worked for the government. Jefferson was able to demand fundamental rights for all citizens of all statuses through the passing of the Declaration. When the government became a democratic system, the public was allowed to participate and have a say in many things from the passing of laws to who the next president was. Jefferson was John Adam's vice president. Following that, he became the president of the USA. Thomas Jefferson was pushing for not only expansion, but exploration as well. He purchased the Louisiana Territory, which was key in our expansion, and he funded the Lewis and Clark expedition, which helped thew explore the land. Jefferson's foreign affairs were neutral, but he was president as he watch America enter the War of 1812.
