Google has hurt our brains
Like the articles said, the internet has affected the way we think and not in a positive way. When, I'm on the internet, my mind wanders and I often forget what I'm even reading. Because of this, I hardly ever read outside of the internet anymore, and when I rarely do, I get distracted and bored easily. Technology has taken over the world, but there are negatives that come with it l. For example, people are much more socially awkward now than before phones and computers took over our lives. Its becoming a daily basis where you see two people standing right by eachother and staring at their phones instead of talking. These are just a few examples of the negative effect google, and all technology as a whole, has on our brains.

I totally agree with you reading stuff in general and on the internet. Even if I'm trying to read the simplest article, it sometimes takes me around a half hour because I'm so distracted by my other tabs, checking out sports scores, or looking at something on YouTube. I also agree with the social awkwardness that the internet is bringing into the world today. If I wanted to talk to my ten year old cousin, I need to literally rip the phone out of his hand just to get him to look up at me. Even going out to a restaurant, you see two people at a table sitting with their heads down instead of talking to each other. Humans need to communicate with one another by talking everyday, but the internet and google are really tampering with our daily lives in a negative way.
