I think technology has a negative impact on society, and is hurting the empathy in the world. Technology should be more of a positive, because it helps make communicating so much easier. Unfortunately, most people use it to avoid talking to others, and leads to less human contact, which humans still want. Technology has ultimately caused more issues, like in relationships, friendships, and other types of groups of people, because they will hide behind their phones and say whatever they want, but not face to face. Therefore, less communication, less human interaction, and more issues in society all point to technology being a negative, and hurting any empathy left in the world.
You are right! Human contact is important! And it is sad that we don't have much of it today. Technology is killing conversations and human-to-human contact. people use their phones to say the things that don't want to say in person. Phones don't allow to express emotions, which is sad.
